Ashleigh McIvor

Ashleigh grew up in Whistler, British Columbia. Her potential as an athlete became apparent at an early age and her drive to compete landed her on several podiums. Ashleigh is a skicross, Olympic gold medalist. In 2010 at the Vancouver games she became the first ever Olympic Champion in skicross.  At just 27 years of age she is one of Canada’s Golden Girls who is just beginning to realize her potential as a true Champion. In her honor British Columbia declared February 23, 2011 as “Ashleigh McIvor Day.”
